Because of efforts by the American SIDS Institute and other organizations, the sudden infant death rate is at an all time low. Since 1983, the rate of SIDS has fallen by over 50 percent. Sadly, there are still about 2,500 deaths per year in the United States, and thousands more throughout the world. The death of even one more infant is intolerable! Together we can end the tragedy of SIDS. |

Since its beginnings in 1903 as an orphanage in Dallas, Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services has been providing residential care and other services to children who have no place else to turn. Whether it's through one of our Group Homes, a H.O.P.E. Foster Home, our Child and Family Program, or the Advanced Education and After-Care Program, we do all we can to help show the children in our care that they are all beloved children of God. |
